Planning
and Advice
Providing specific advice on planning and conducting community improvement.
Discussion with committees, local government and community organisations
on conducting a process of engaging and mobilising the local community.
“On
Call” Consultations
Input as issues arise such as “what is the best way for us to
look at economic opportunities?” or “How can we make better
contact with senior citizens?” etc.
Research
Source information as requested by your community such as e.g. “We
want to know more about community foundations” or “What
background information is there on involving young people?” or
“Who do we contact about small business development?”
Training
Half day, one day or two day training workshops on community development
or specific topics such as economic development, community participation,
evaluation etc.
Facilitation
Providing independent facilitation of community meetings or committee
processes.
Group Development
Helping groups function well and assisting the formation of new groups.
